PPTX
Up to 100 files at once. Mixed formats are fine.
They convert one after another and download together as a ZIP.
Removing metadata from a PowerPoint presentation clears the author, the company, the template and the accumulated editing time, while every slide stays exactly as it is. Drop a .pptx above and it is rewritten inside your browser.
Presentations are sent to clients, investors, conferences and journalists, forwarded onwards, and posted as downloads. They are also the Office file most often built from an internal template, which means the properties name the organisation, the department and frequently the individual.
The editing time field is worth a thought before sending a pitch deck: it reports, cumulatively, how many minutes the file has been open for editing since it was created.
Speaker notes. They are slide content, they survive, and they are visible to anyone who opens the file rather than only presents it — which is the most common accidental disclosure in a shared deck.
The same applies to slides hidden from the presentation, to objects moved off the edge of the canvas, and to images cropped in PowerPoint, which keeps the whole original picture and merely displays part of it. Cropping is not deletion, and a metadata cleaner cannot tell the difference.
